Sam O'Sullivan's Introduction

                                     My Introduction

My name is Sam, I am 18 years old.
My favourite class last year was geography because I had an easy-going teacher and had an interest in the class. My biggest goal is not failing Irish in my leaving cert.
My favourite TV show is Friends I always find myself watching it even if I saw the episode multiple time before. I don't really have a favourite type of music genre that I love, who I listen to/what I listen to is constantly changing but currently, I'm enjoying listening to Case Study 01 by Daniel Caesar.
During the summer I went overseas to Orlando, the weather was so humid and sometimes unbearable but it was still great from with all the thrilling roller coasters and experience the different lifestyle they have over there. I went with 15 people so you always had something to do or somewhere to go.
I do have a dog named Frodo who just turned 15 which is 105 in dog years. I don't have many hobbies apart form listening to my music if you'd even class that as a hobby I also like to take some photos in my spare time but very rarely, one hobby that I wish I could do would be to play an instrument maybe something like the piano or being able to draw, something creative but with my procrastination is never going to happen.
If I had an extra day to do something fun id probably just sleep and relax for the day, not as if I do that enough already but nothing beats it.😀

Digital Audio reflection

Digital Audio reflection reflecting back on our mission there is a lot where we could have improved. There's always room to improve. First ill start off with the powerpoint it wasn't really a collaborative process we kind of took our own tasks and went with that instead of all chiming in on each topic that we had chosen and what we should keep and what we should remove. Also talking about the history of podcast could have been removed and wasn't really necessary in finding out information apart from what they did do with a podcast in the past but that wasn't helpful with us creating the podcast. We needed more of how to create a podcast instead of looking up when podcasts came about. Also in the how-to cast were created in the powerpoint I think we had one too many slides making it feel as though it is too long and just dragged on I could feel it dragging on as I presented it. When making the podcast it could have been a bit longer than what we had and flowed more l...

Digital Audio Project

Digital Audio Project  Starting the project we had to split into groups of 3 and choose a mission that we wanted to present on. After choosing the mission we were given tasks that each of us would take part in over the course of the week I was assigned doing research on how podcasts run while the rest of my group looked up the history and the editing of a podcast I went online and done some research on the making of the podcast and how they run but a lot of websites focused more on the history so it was difficult for me to find out about how to podcast run. I made sure to add enough information that I thought was necessary and made sure my informtaion wasnt focusing on the history of podcast but how they were made and edited and they key steps in  After I did my research I added it to our powerpoint to be ready to be presented which was followed by the editing of a podcast and the editing of it. After the research was done we gathered as a group to record the podca...

Digital Jounalisim Process

Digital JOunalisim I chose this mission because it stood out to me out of all the other missions that were available at this time, FIrst, I read through the mission on the website and I looked at each task that was given to us to see what the goal was and what our goal as a group would be. As a group of three, we gathered up through the course of the few weeks and e=decied what we were going to do we planned it out and had to read it a couple of times to see what we were going to do. Then we decided to do it on-screen times and how addicted people were to their phones so we decided as a group to find out people screen times on their phones and to ask them some questions about what they use their phones for etc.  We came up with multiple different questions such as, “do you depend on your phone?” “how many hours are you on your phone every day?” “could you go a day without your phone?” “what’s the first app you open up when you wake up?” and “what’s the app you use the most”. We ...
