Digital Audio Project 


  • Starting the project we had to split into groups of 3 and choose a mission that we wanted to present on.
  • After choosing the mission we were given tasks that each of us would take part in over the course of the week
  • I was assigned doing research on how podcasts run while the rest of my group looked up the history and the editing of a podcast
  • I went online and done some research on the making of the podcast and how they run but a lot of websites focused more on the history so it was difficult for me to find out about how to podcast run.
  • I made sure to add enough information that I thought was necessary and made sure my informtaion wasnt focusing on the history of podcast but how they were made and edited and they key steps in 
  • After I did my research I added it to our powerpoint to be ready to be presented which was followed by the editing of a podcast and the editing of it.
  • After the research was done we gathered as a group to record the podcast and got to know more about each other and about how college life was for us and how we found secondary school etc.
  • When we finished recording it was ready to be edited 
  • The podcast was then edited in software on the computer cutting out all the part we found were not useful or interesting to use in the podcast and cut it down to about 2-3mins to keep the clip quick and concise  
  • After our podcast was recorded we added it to our powerpoint ready to be listened to by all.

Digital Privacy Reflection After presenting our project it was clear that there wasnt proof of work. Those 20 hours we spent on this project seemed to be thrown out the window. Especially compared to the other digital privacy missions. Although there was a lot of information that was interesting there was also some that were very boring and didn't really hold your attention and was just very bland. One thing we could have done was show how your digital privacy is being used somehow on our phones like tracking the ads we get or finding out the information they know about us and our lives. Reflecting back on the project it didn't really stand out an out was more words on a google doc rather than something that stood out. The google doc could have also had a few more images and have been more colourful to keep the attention rather than all of the information sitting on a white background with lines and lines of black text. It would have been a better presentation if we had some

Sam O'Sullivan's Introduction

                                      My Introduction                                            My name is Sam , I am 18 years old. My favourite class last year was geography because I had an easy-going teacher and had an interest in the class. My biggest goal is not failing Irish in my leaving cert.  My favourite TV show is Friends I always find myself watching it even if I saw the episode multiple time before. I don't really have a favourite type of music genre that I love, who I listen to/what I listen to is constantly changing but currently, I'm enjoying listening to Case Study 01 by Daniel Caesar. Digital Privacy Process

Digital privacy This mission really grabbed my attention out of all the other missions. Something that we can all use a bit more knowledge on and I was willing to find out more about it. First, ur group started off as a trio but soon became a duo when someone in the group left to join another group because they "had no work to do". So I and Killian decided to continue doing digital privacy and began to read up about it with the suggested tasks and goal. We wanted to focus on finding out more about digital privacy and teaching more people about how to look after their digital privacy in different ways and how important it is to protect your digital privacy.
