Digital Jounalisim Process

Digital JOunalisim

I chose this mission because it stood out to me out of all the other missions that were available at this time, FIrst, I read through the mission on the website and I looked at each task that was given to us to see what the goal was and what our goal as a group would be. As a group of three, we gathered up through the course of the few weeks and e=decied what we were going to do we planned it out and had to read it a couple of times to see what we were going to do. Then we decided to do it on-screen times and how addicted people were to their phones so we decided as a group to find out people screen times on their phones and to ask them some questions about what they use their phones for etc. We came up with multiple different questions such as, “do you depend on your phone?” “how many hours are you on your phone every day?” “could you go a day without your phone?” “what’s the first app you open up when you wake up?” and “what’s the app you use the most”. We gathered all the information and as a group discussed it and added all our information together to see what the results were and to display them, on a graph and in our video showing the screen recordings of us asking each person what they used their phones for.

Digital Audio reflection

Digital Audio reflection reflecting back on our mission there is a lot where we could have improved. There's always room to improve. First ill start off with the powerpoint it wasn't really a collaborative process we kind of took our own tasks and went with that instead of all chiming in on each topic that we had chosen and what we should keep and what we should remove. Also talking about the history of podcast could have been removed and wasn't really necessary in finding out information apart from what they did do with a podcast in the past but that wasn't helpful with us creating the podcast. We needed more of how to create a podcast instead of looking up when podcasts came about. Also in the how-to cast were created in the powerpoint I think we had one too many slides making it feel as though it is too long and just dragged on I could feel it dragging on as I presented it. When making the podcast it could have been a bit longer than what we had and flowed more l...

Sam O'Sullivan's Introduction

My Introduction                                            My name is Sam , I am 18 years old. My favourite class last year was geography because I had an easy-going teacher and had an interest in the class. My biggest goal is not failing Irish in my leaving cert.  My favourite TV show is Friends I always find myself watching it even if I saw the episode multiple time before. I don't really have a favourite type of music genre that I love, who I listen to/what I listen to is constantly changing but currently, I'm enjoying listening to Case Study 01 by Daniel Caesar. During the summer I went overseas to Orlando, the weather was so humid and sometimes unbearable but it was still great from with all the thrilling roller coasters and ...

Digital Audio Product

Digital audio product Our final product for digital audio was our podcast. We gathered all the needed information needed. The product came out well in my opinion. It showed our knowledge of the subject and how we put everything together. Our goal was to make a podcast that would be enjoyable for all and personally, in my opinion, I think we achieved that well. Each one of us put int the worked needed to create a product that we were all happy with and we did that. The podcast was targeted to a specific audience and didn't go off track of where we wanted it to go and had enough questions to keep you listening and not thinking when will this end it was a simple podcast that I could see many other people creating and being successful in the process. Our powerpoint was also full of information that could help an average person starting their own podcast. We had each step layout one after the other. So it was easy to follow and to understand. Our podcast displayed how we used the info...
